Dr Hardeep Sahota graduated dentistry with honours from the University of Birmingham Dental School, earning multiple academic prizes during his studies. He went on to complete a variety of hospital-based roles in maxillofacial surgery, oral surgery, and oral medicine, in addition to working in general practice. During this time, he achieved Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons. Furthermore, he contributed to dental education as a clinical teacher for undergraduate students at Birmingham Dental Hospital.
Driven by a passion and interest in gum health, Hardeep pursued specialist training in Periodontology at the internationally renowned Eastman Dental Institute in London — a three-year specialist training programme in which he graduated with distinction. Alongside his clinical practice, Hardeep has engaged in collaborative research exploring the relationship between gum disease and general health.
Hardeep provides the full spectrum of modern periodontal treatments, from managing gum and implant disease to advanced periodontal plastic surgery. These procedures not only improve oral health but can also enhance the appearance of the smile. This includes covering exposed roots, correcting gum recession, treating gummy smiles and performing bone grafting procedures. Additionally, Hardeep not only places dental implants but also carries out all associated implant treatments such as bone, gum and sinus grafts. His approach combines evidence-based techniques with a focus on patient comfort and predictable, long-term results.
Outside of dentistry, Hardeep enjoys playing and watching football, travelling the world and spending time with his family and friends.
