Your Specialist Consultation
Your first visit will be a comprehensive periodontal consultation. Hardeep will begin with a friendly conversation about your main concerns and what you would like to achieve from treatment. To ensure a truly holistic approach is taken regarding your care, relevant dental and general history shall be discussed.
This will be followed by a thorough examination of your teeth, existing dental work and gums. This includes taking detailed measurements of any gum pockets that may have formed as part of the comprehensive gum health assessment. Your comfort is the priority at every stage of the assessment and during treatment. Depending on your needs and the reason for your referral, additional measurements or records maybe taken.
In most cases, dental x-rays and photographs will also be taken to assess your teeth and associated bone levels and supporting structures.
Once all the information has been collated, Hardeep will sit down with you to discuss all the findings in detail and recommend a treatment plan tailored specifically to you, along with the treatment fees associated with investing in your gum health. You will have plenty of time to ask questions and understand your options.
After your appointment, Hardeep will send you a detailed bespoke written report, and a copy will also be sent to your referring dentist.
The initial consultation usually takes around 45–60 minutes.
